This 5 Minute Chipotle Aioli is amazing made fresh compared to store bought. It’s incredibly versatile for countless dishes.
This chipotle aïoli recipe has become a standard in my household. It’s a crowd favorite! Anytime I make it, I always have to be sure to mix up a double batch. It’s so easy to whip up taking about five minutes and you can use it on countless dishes, not to mention it’s versatile enough to use in pretty much any course of the day: breakfast, unch or dinner. Here’s a few things to give you some ideas: tacos (breakfast, lunch or dinner), sandwiches, burgers, taco bowls, burritos, breakfast tacos, stuffed sweet potatoes, and more!

If you’re looking for a healthier option, feel free to use plain greek yogurt. It will not have the same classic aïoli flavors and will definitely be a little bit lighter. It actually would make for a great dressing if we’re planning to use it on dishes, like Mexican style quinoa bowls, and taco salads.
Especially since we’re using a blender and it’s really easy to just add some garlic cloves. I do recommend using fresh garlic cloves for this recipe; however, if you would like you can definitely substitute for garlic powder. One teaspoon of garlic powder translates to one garlic clove. Some garlic powder can be a little less potent than fresh garlic, especially in sauces. Taste test after adding your 3 teaspoons and add more if you feel the need.
The fact that we’re making this chipotle aïoli sauce at home is eco-friendly in itself because theres no extra emission output from transporting the product and you're going to be using a reusable container at home as opposed to using brand new packaging that store-bought products come in.
Traditional mayo, the foundation of the sauce is actually not typically considered sustainable product. There’s typically a good amount of oil found in store-bought mayo and not only does that take high emission production but the actual type of oils used themselves are often not the eco-friendly kind like rapeseed or soy oil. To help with its impacts, I suggest using an organic mayo or a mayo that uses ingredients like free range or even better pasture raised eggs. This means that egg quantities are higher quality, smaller, and have a smaller emissions output. Here's a guide to help define what each egg category means. Interesting that everything that is healthier for us is pretty much always gonna be healthier for the planet. It's a win-win.

2 Add all the ingredients listed above into your blender. A food processor works as well.
3 Blend on low for about 60 seconds until everything is well combined. Just make sure you do not blend on high because it will create a very liquidy instead of thicker sauce consistency.
None! This is a toss and blend type of recipe. Easy and quick.

Store in a squeeze bottle or salad dressing bottle in the fridge for up to approximately a month. Have available and ready to squeeze on your yummy sandwiches and delicious taco Tuesday dinners. These are the ones we use in the coffee shop. They are easy to wash and fill since you can remove both the top and bottom lids. Even though they’re inverted, I do recommend not storing them squeeze side up because they can still leak a little bit slowly, but surely. But that’s an easy problem to solve! Having them inverted is still nice because if you’re using it back to back and have it out on the counter, you can still keep it upside down and readily available to use for the next person.
