About

Hey I'm Hanna. I'm an avid foodie & coffeepreneur

You’ll find me channeling all my creativity into this blog to produce recipes that I can’t fit on my shop menu.

My shop is called Hanna Bee Coffee. We're based in Nashville, TN. A welcoming space influenced by my passion for the ocean, horses, the culture of Jackson Hole and Nashville's southern charm.

These inspirations all come together to represent a couple different meanings… Sustainability and protecting our planet, taking care of our oceans and endangered species. It also stands for living a little! Put down your phone for a while and go for a walk, get out in some nature. Slow it down and remember to enjoy your life.

I'd love to hear from you!

Are you media, a brand, fellow blogger, or food enthusiast looking to collaborate? I’m always excited to work with others who share our love for food. Anything shop related reach out to me on our separate shop website.

Recipe comments or questions too, I’d love to hear them! And if for any reason I take longer to respond than 3 days, it’s probably cuz I’m tending to screaming kids.

Talk to you soon!

A Few Fun Tidbits About Me

01

COFFEE OBSESSED: I loove trying new flavors and drinks, but my go to is an iced espresso with caramel sauce… I’ll choose iced over a hot drink any winter day.

Avid horse gal: I have a rescue OTTB (off track Thoroughbred) mare who adopted me and later became the logo of our coffee shop inspired a photo I took of her wearing our first Hanna Bee Coffee hat ever made

Jackson Hole: Each year my husband’s side takes a trip to Jackson hole (it’s been a tradition for years). Our favorite thing to do down there is paddleboard on Jackson Lake and hike to Phelps lake looking out for moose tracks and other wildlife!

Hawaii: I’ve been once. I fell in love. Come on! The wild sea turtles alone that swim right by you will capture your heart. Their cuisine covers just about every single one of my favorite foods: sushi, taro tapioca pudding, iced macadamia espresso, oysters. If I keep going it will be a long list.

Former radio host: I started at the bottom working for CBS Radio in my twenties and worked my way into a Nashville radio host position for a station no longer called i106.7. Countless amazing adventures meeting artists and experiencing the music biz in Music City! I lost the job off due to covid in 2020 and was able to turn it into a positive and follow my other dream: Hanna Bee Coffee!

Fashion:  I worked as a full time model in New York and landed an internship with Harpers Bazaar at the time. Probably good for helping me with all the writing I do here on the blog! The strict yet healthy model diet actually helped me grow my passion and curiosity for food and recipes.
