
This one to me is a classic. I’m a huge fan of vinegary flavors in just about any food. Ask my husband, he’ll say “all yours” before I can even offer him anything with too much vinegar for his taste buds. Well, it’s just more for me!
It’s a perfect lunch or dinner side to any type of asian food. Especially dishes that already have rice wine vinegar. The pairing is magic. It will uplift any meal! The fact that it’s very quick and simple to make is a bonus for lunch time. I swear I never know what to make for lunch! At least when it’s a busy week day.

When it comes to slicing, I find thin slices tend to be better for tossing and coating with the sugar and vinegar. When it comes to this Sweet Rice Vinegar Salad, I wouldn’t even be afraid of cutting the slices in half to get an even better coating of rice vinegar and sugar.
